I’m a writer & visual artist based in Leith. I recently published a poetic memoir called “Things I Have Noticed” that I illustrated with cyanotypes I made through the lockdown 2020. Currently I am mostly focusing on cyanotype printing on paper and large textiles but I often venture into all kinds of visual experimentation. My next big project will be an audiovisual installation called “The Siren Still Sings”.

SparkleWear is based at the textile studio at Abbeymount and run by Isabel Lohss-O’Sullivan. Reflective hi-vis vests made with hand screen printed materials and from upcycled garments and fabric. Using bright and reflective inks and some added shine and sparkle – from sporty to fitted, from sequins to gents’ tweeds – every piece is hand-made and completely unique. Do hi-vis in style!

Trista Yen is an illustrator/ children’s book author from Tainan, Taiwan. After graduating from the University of Brighton in Sequential Design and Illustration MA in 2015, she focused on Children’s illustration and published several children’s books in Taiwan. She’s always interested in education, psychology and mental health. Trista enjoys drawing animals, especially bears. Her main clients are children’s publishers. She is also developing her skills in greeting cards and surface design. She works digitally but picked up her painting brushes again recently to explore more possibilities of illustration.
